I may be “old,” but I’ve always felt like an old soul. Meeting new people, listening to their stories, and learning new perspectives is how I try to understand the world a little better each day. And if there’s one thing I want to stay true to — it’s being kind 💛.

📚 Why This Blog

This blog began simply because I’m addicted to buying books 📚 and board games 🎲. At some point, a friend told me that all my notes and opinions might be useful for someone else — so I started writing them down here.

On Bunko Tales, when it comes to books I try to keep my reviews balanced:

📖 My Reading Philosophy

I try to keep my reviews thoughtful and structured, but always with a personal note — because every story we read
or play meets us at a specific moment in our lives. Sometimes I even wonder: if I read this book again years from now, as a slightly different person, what would I see in it then?

I love comparing translations — often reading the same book in Polish and English, and one day I dream of reading them in Japanese 🇯🇵 to see how my perspective shifts again. Like an ultra-believer in Marie Kondo’s philosophy ✨,
I give away books and board games that don’t spark joy for me. Still, I also have a bad habit of tsundoku (積ん読) 📚 — piling up more books than I can possibly read. This blog helps me keep track of what actually made it off the pile and into my life.

🌸 Beyond Books

Outside of reading, I used to love traveling everywhere, but these days I mostly return to Asia — especially Japan ✈️. Whenever I’m there, I feel like a glowing stick of happiness 🌸. It feels like home.

That’s also why I read so many Japanese books, watch anime (not just romances — I’m a big Jujutsu Kaisen fan ⚔️),
and lose myself in manga and art 🎨. Sometimes just looking at a drawing, at how someone created an image, feels breathtaking.

🐶 Everyday Duty

At my core, I’m a fixer 🔧. My surname could be “Call of Duty.” Even if I have a fever 🤒, I’ll walk my dog because it’s my duty. I’m a doer — I don’t like to waste time talking when I can act ⚡. I’m also ultra-straightforward. You’ll always know where you stand with me.

💡 My Life at Home

I’m childless but not alone — I share life with an adorable dog 🐶 and an ultra-smart husband 💡. He’s ultra-optimistic, I’m ultra-realistic. Together we balance each other out.

Because I also work in the tech industry 💻, part of this blog reflects that too. I work with AI 🤖 every day, and sometimes
I share short articles or guides here — mostly for my friends or for anyone curious but not sure where to start. I truly believe AI can be helpful, which is why I like to promote it in a simple, approachable way.
